The practice was established in “The Vintage” building, away from the glitz and glamour of Macquarie Street by the Principal, Dr Terry Walton on his return from specialist training at the University of Michigan in 1981. The practice quickly established a reputation for quality treatments and a ‘no-nonsense’ approach to complex dental problems. Dr Paul Hogan joined the practice in 1989 and the practice broke new ground with the introduction of dental implant treatment, developing techniques which are now considered mainstream. Having trained under both Dr Walton and Dr Hogan, Dr Markijan Hupalo joined the partnership in 1999 continuing the tradition of excellence and experience. Sydney Prosthodontics now has a national and international reputation as a centre of excellence in clinical care, research and education.
Not only do the specialists at Sydney Prosthodontics have a reputation for attention to detail but also for their capacity to develop practical solutions to the most complex dental problems.
